Recommended Build Order
- Choose a class, then note level, subclass if applicable, armor training, proficiencies, and class features.
- Choose an origin: background, species, and languages. In the current rules, background is where many starting ability increases and origin feats come from.
- Generate ability scores by DM-approved method. Standard array is 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8; point buy uses 27 points; rolled scores require DM approval.
- Fill in derived numbers: modifiers, saving throws, skills, passive Perception, hit points, initiative, speed, attacks, spells, and equipment.
- Finish the Atomic-a-Plenty! fields. The memory anchor, reason for Oakhaven, and backstory matter as much as combat math.
